About Tamra Copper LA
Los Angeles, CA
During a trip to India in 2016, founder Cheryl Freeman, saw a copper water bottle in Rishikesh. Perched on the top shelf of a fairly dusty general goods store, the sun was hitting it in such a way that it actually glowed. The shop keeper then informed Cheryl that it was "Ayurvedic and good for health!" She immediately bought it and ran to the nearest bookstore to buy a book on Ayurveda - a 5,000 year old traditional system of medicine in India that seeks to treat/integrate the body, mind, and spirit using a comprehensive holistic approach. Cheryl arrived back home with a determination to create a line of beautiful bottles and accessories to "feed the body, nourish the spirit."
